Lola is the sweetest little cat. She never stops purring and she’s teeny tiny (almost like a kitten), with big whiskers and a super fluffy tail. Her fur is long, but doesn’t mat without brushing, and extremely soft.
She was born to a feral mom in Sooke. but a volunteer rescued her. She’s still very shy around new people, but she takes fairly quickly to other cats and dogs. She prefers to spend most of her time curled up on her own or playing with her furry friends, but she’ll let her foster mom hold her and pet her and is starting to get more daring about jumping onto the couch or bed when someone’s there. She loves cat treats and chasing toys around the apartment.
She can still be skittish at times so a quieter home without small children would be best for her. She would do best either in a home where she gets lots of one-on-one attention from people or where there are other cats or cat-friendly dogs for her to play with. Gaining her trust and affection takes some time, but is worth every effort as she is such a loving girl when she finally bonds with you.
Lola was born approx mid-August 2009 and has been dewormed, deflead, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLv and has been spayed.
