Butters – Courtesy Posting

butters on table

Butters is an absolutely amazing kitty with an amazing story. A local couple was honeymooning down in Palm Springs, California and discovered Butters on the side of the road, extremely underweight and in bad shape. Being animal lovers they decided to take him to the vet and then back to their vacation spot. After discovering all the local no-kill shelters were full they decided to bring Butters home to Vancouver Island and help him start a new life. After a two day car-trek Butters is happy, healthy and ready for his forever home.

Butters is believed to be an older adult cat, somewhere between 7-11 years old. He is a orange beauty with a lovely long coat. He is an absolute cuddler who loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch or bed with a willing participant. Butters has had little experience with dogs and other cats but we think he would do best as the only cat in the household. As he can be a bit skittish around new people we feel he would do best in a home without small children. He is very quick to bond to new people and has possibly the most adorable meow you’ve ever heard. Butters would do great in a working household as he is quite happy to sleep throughout the day; however, be prepared for a snuggle-fest as soon as you walk in the door. Butters is neutered,  has tested negative for FIV and FeLV and been vaccinated.
