Darby & Loki

Darby and Loki are 7 years old and have been together since kittens and are a bonded pair. They were returned to GVAC after being adopted out to the same family.   They are healthy and happy.  The foster home says that they both need time to trust, but after just 2 weeks, they come out and purr and rub and knead. You can actually hear Loki purring under the bed. He is a big orange tabby with a little stubby tail.  Darby has come out and lies on the bed with you and will purr and be very content if you pet and rub his face. He is easily brought out now with Temptations.   Both these boys are friendly but just a bit nervous.  They haven’t met the lab/shepard down stairs yet, but they grew up with 2 big dogs, so I am pretty confident they will be fine.  If you adopt these boys you will get a lifetime of purring and loving.  Can you find it in your heart and your home to give these boys another chance at a happily ever after?

Darby & Loki have both been neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for worms and fleas, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. If you would like to adopt Laverne, please fill out our application here:GVAC Cat Adoption Form or you can email us for more information: info@animalcrusaders.ca

Shirley

Hi, I’m Shirley.  I’m smaller than my sister and am a darker grey with a few light grey stripes and have beautiful green eyes.  I’m cute and I know it.  I’m a little more shy than my sister, it takes me a little longer to trust.  But…  Once I know your loving intentions, I love head butting and rubbing up against legs – figure eights around your legs for as long as you’ll let me!  I’m not a lap cat, but I really enjoy sitting beside my foster mom and getting stroked and combed.

Both girls came from a semi-feral colony, and are about 5 months old.  Trusting humans took some time, but through consistent love and treats they really came around.   Big or sudden/unexpected moves still scare them, but they love playing with toy mice (any toy, really), are really beginning to understand humans = affection, have super soft coats, and really respond to food!   Anyone who is lucky enough to adopt these sweethearts will be bringing into their family a loyal loving companion for life!

Shirley is being spayed on January 25th, fully vaccinated, treated for worms and fleas, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. If you would like to adopt Shirley, please fill out our application here:GVAC Cat Adoption Form or you can email us for more information: info@animalcrusaders.ca

Honey – updated December 30th, 2011 – adoption pending

Say hello to Honey!  She is an absolutely gorgeous 6 month old kitten with the distinct look of a Maine Coon cat – her coat is very soft and sleek and she loves to be stroked.  Honey is extremely affectionate and playful too.  Honey is a smart cookie who knows her name and will come when called.  She is completely litter trained.  She loves other cats, but is frightened of dogs and boisterous young children; Honey would do best in a home where there are no dogs or children.

Honey’s adoption fee includes her spay (which has already been done) as well as her 1st and 2nd set of shots and testing for FIV/FeLV.”
